McKinney, Roy Lee age 79 of Miamisburg, Ohio passed away Monday October 9, 2023. He was born July 19, 1944 in Harlan, Kentucky to Tom and Lura {Raines} McKinney. Roy is preceded in death by his parents and siblings; Oneda Spurlock and Bob McKinney. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years; Jonalee {Endicott} McKinney of Miamisburg, Ohio, children; David (Lisa Bryant) McKinney of Dayton, Ohio and Daren (Amy) McKinney of Tipp City, Ohio. Also surviving are sisters; Opal Smith of Kentucky and Brenda (Bill) Middleton of Kentucky, grandchildren; Gage McKinney, Aaron McKinney, Nathan McKinney, Trevor McKinney, Sarah McKinney and Connor McKinney and great grandchildren; Eleanor Keener, Carter McKinney and Axel McKinney.

Roy loved cars, drag racing and was a racer at Killcare.  He served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era. Roy was a very reliable and intelligent man and never broke his principles or values. He never met a stranger and made friends easily. Roy will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Visitation will be held 10:30 AM until time of service at Noon on Friday, October 13, 2023 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371.
