Black, Roscoe B. 96 of West Milton, OH passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Koester Pavilion, Troy, OH. Born June 29, 1918 in Miami County, OH to Sumner and Florence {Pearson} Black. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother; Dean Black and sister; Elinor Stiver. He is survived by a sister; Margaret Donohoo, Eaton, OH, 7 nieces and nephews and special friends; Ron and Sharon Yoakum, West Milton, OH. Roscoe was an outstanding athlete and graduate of Vandalia Butler High School, member of the Nashville United Church of Christ and was a life-long farmer on his family farm. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, November 3, 2014 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371, Pastor Lynn Labs officiating, burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until time of service on Monday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made in loving memory of Roscoe to the Nashville United Church of Christ.
