Patton, Ronald M. Sr. age 70 of Tipp City, Ohio died Saturday April 17, 2010 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy after battling cancer since August 2009. Born May 27, 1939 in Fairfield, Ohio to George and Betty {Smith} Patton. Ron was a concrete truck driver for Ernst Enterprises and a member of the Tippecanoe Eagles Lodge 2201. Preceded in death by his parents, brother Denny Patton and brother in-law Palmer Cox. Surviving Ron are his loving wife of 48 years Marilyn {Magill} Patton; daughters Lisa Patton, Tipp City and Teresa (Greg) Nichols, Troy; and son Ronald (Holly) Patton, Jr., Casstown. Brothers; Larry and Wayne Patton, Dayton; Gary (Nancy) Patton, FL; Sisters Dianne Cox, NC; Sandy (Harry) Davis, TN; and Jeannie (Ronnie) Lewis, TN. Three granddaughters; Allie, Jenna, and Olivia; and three grandsons; Matt, Dustin and Mitchell. Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Friday, April 23, 2010 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St. Tipp City, Ohio 45371. Burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. Visitation Thursday evening 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
