English, Ronald J., loving husband and devoted father and grandfather, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Friday, April 14, 2017. Born in Sidney, Ohio, August 15, 1937 to Evan & Dorothy (Stump) English. Ron moved with his family to Tipp City when he was 5 years of age, and he attended Tippecanoe Schools graduating in 1955. Ron went on to The Ohio State University where he graduated in 1959 with a degree in Business Administration.

Ron is survived by his wife of 58 years, Paula (Bowen) English, his 3 children Julia (Richard) Van Camp, Evan (Layne) English, and Edmond (Sheila) English; his six grandchildren: Allyson , Ethan and Caitlyn Van Camp; Grant and Dean English, and Madelyne English; and two great-grandchildren: Addison and Declan Van Camp.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Evan and Dorothy English; brothers Frederick and Thomas English, and sister Janet English.,

Ron was well-known in the community as the Owner and President of Olde English Gun Shoppe, Inc. from 1974 until 1999 when he began to turn over the business to his son, Evan. He remained involved with the company until 2012 when his health began to inhibit him. He was a founding member of Community Bible Church in Tipp City, and was very involved with the ministry until health issues prevented many of his activities. He was a Life Member of the National Rifle Association, the Ohio Gun Collector's Association and several other gun and watch collecting organizations. Funeral services will held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the Community Bible Church, 1427 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH; Pastor Jeff Seekins officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the church. Contributions may be made in loving memory of Ron to the Community Bible Church Memorial Fund. Arrangements have been entrusted to FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W.
