Braun, Ronald "Ron" Dean Sr. age 84 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away Monday January 8, 2024. He was born February 7, 1939 in Dayton, Kentucky to the late Leonard and Louise {Walton} Braun. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Phyllis {Saunders} Braun, children; Ronald (Christine) Braun Jr. of Campbellsport, Wisconsin, Gregory (Shelly) Braun of Tipp City, Ohio, Julie Braun of New Carlisle, Ohio, Amy (Todd) Weinbrecht of Marysville, Ohio and siblings; Marilyn (James) Boothe and James (Liz) Braun. Also surviving are grandchildren; Ronald Braun III, Taylor (Jordan) Dudas, Mitchell Weinbrecht, Sara Weinbrecht and Cory Weinbrecht and great grandchild; Tatum Dudas.

Ron was a graduate of Dayton High School in Kentucky. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was a long-time member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Tipp City. He loved to be outside cutting grass, splitting firewood and was known to tear up a straw broom sweeping the sidewalk.  Ron enjoyed going to Longs Retreat where they spent every summer with their best friends. He was a big family man and absolutely adored his grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing when he was young and working on puzzles in his later years. Ron loved watching sports including basketball, football and baseball, specifically Cincinnati Reds and was a huge University of Kentucky Wildcat fan.

A visitation will be held 4:00 PM until time of memorial service at 6:00 PM Monday, January 15, 2024 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME , 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371.
