Comer, Roger A. 85 of Tipp City passed away at his home on Tuesday June 24, 2014. Born December 2, 1928 in Wapakoneta, OH to Charles R. and Evadna {Waller} Comer who precede him in death. He is survived by his loving wife, Miriam {Schumann} Comer, daughter, Leann Davis, Houston, OH, sons, Roderick and his wife Emmie {Despi} Comer, Tipp City, Randy and his wife Teresa {Rehmert} Comer, Versailles, OH, sister, Wanda Schaub, Wapakoneta, OH, grandchildren, Timothy and Sunie {Wheeler} Davis, Brookville, OH, Kaitlynn Comer and fiancAC. Shane Osberg, Fullerton, CA, Jhen and Jhun Macaroncio, Manila. Along with his parents Roger is preceded in death by his sister Roxie Blanchard, brother Charlie Comer and son in-law, Michael J. Davis. Roger proudly served his country in the United States Navy, was retired from CSX Railroad after 46 years of service, and was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, American Legion and VFW all in Tipp City. He was an avid motorcyclist, enjoyed fishing, attending family sporting events and spending time with family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at Noon on Saturday June, 28, 2014 at Zion Lutheran Church, 14 W. Walnut St., Tipp City, OH. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of service at Noon at the church. The family has requested in lieu of flowers that donations be made in loving memory of Roger to the Zion Lutheran Church or Senior Independence Hospice.
