Holman, Robert O. 88 of Sidney, formerly of Tipp City passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Dorothy Love Retirement Community, Sidney, OH. He was born on February 13, 1925 in Detroit, MI to the late Robert Lee and Martha {McNeill} Holman. He is survived by his loving wife; Violet M. {Morgan} Holman, son; Glenn Holman, Troy, OH and daughter; Joyce and her husband John Snell, Tipp City, OH along with 2 grandsons; Nathan and his wife Beckey Snell and Brent Snell and one great granddaughter; Lillian Snell. Robert was a graduate of the University of Charleston in WV, proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp during WWII, and had been employed by the Auditor's office of the State of Ohio as an accountant. He was also a member of the Tipp City United Methodist Church, American Legion Post 586 in Tipp City, Masonic Lodge 153 in Charleston, WV, Scottish Rite Club of Dayton and past president of W.B.C.C.I. of Miami Valley. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday at Tipp City United Methodist Church, 8 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH, Pastor Bonita Wood officiating, burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.
