Miller, Robert "Bob" A. of Tipp City, Oh, passed away January 18, 2018. He was born March 20, 1923, the eldest son of Leo and Agnes (Suerdieck) Miller. He was a graduate of Tippecanoe H.S., Class of 1941. Bob was the last member of the only THS Football team to beat Troy H.S. He joined the Naval Air Corp in 1943, served as an Aerographer and met the love of his life, Florella (Kiphen) Miller at Bunker Hill Air Naval Base, Indiana. They married June 3, 1946. They raised 3 daughters, Marilyn (Gary) Fennell, Catherine Preibisch, and Angela (Scott) Druley. Bob had a 36 year career with the Ohio Bell Telephone Company. He retired in 1978 and Bob and Flo enjoyed retirement at Indian Lake. Bob was active with St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Parish-Knights of Columbus #5129, Cemetery Committee, and 50's Club; American Legion Post #586, Tipp Needy Baskets, Tippecanoe/Bethel Senior Citizens, and the Tippecanoe Historical Society. He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Miller and son-in-law Fred Preibisch. He is survived by his wife, Florella, 3 daughters, and 6 grandchildren, Adam Fennell, Gena (Eddie) Fowler, Kurt (Joyce) Preibisch, Neil Preibisch, Patrick (Vicki) Druley, and Kerry (Joel) Gautraud and 12 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 753 S. Hyatt St., Tipp City Friday, January 26, 11:30a.m. with a visitation starting 2 hours prior to the service.
