Knoth, Robert "Bob" A. age 78 of Tipp City passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at Upper Valley Medical Center following a brief illness. Born July 13, 1934 in Mercer County, Ohio to the late Joseph and Nellie {Boise} Knoth. Also preceding him in death are brother; Roger and sisters; Donna, Jeanette and Arlene. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years; Flo Buell Knoth, son; Hank and his wife Christena Wilder, Troy, OH and daughter; Carolyn and her husband Leo Wagner, Beavercreek, OH, brothers; Norman Knoth, Beavercreek, OH, Joe and his wife Delores Knoth, Dayton, OH, 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews and many special friends.

Bob was a graduate of Chaminade Julienne High School, proudly served in the United States Marine Corp. during the Korean war, had been a delivery driver for ARA Vending in Dayton, OH and had worked at Valley Nursing Home in St. Mary's, OH. He was a member of the American Legion Post #586, Eagles Lodge #2201 and St. John the Baptist Catholic Church all in Tipp City.

Mass of Christian burial 10:30 AM, Saturday, December 29, 2012 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 753 S. Hyatt St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371, Father R. Marc Sherlock, Celebrant, burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371.
