Apple, Richard W. "Rick" Jr. 67 of Tipp City passed away Saturday, April 18, 2015 at his home. Born October 23, 1947 in Highland Park, MI to the late Richard W. and Frances {Carr} Apple Sr. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Apple, Tipp City, daughter Rox Ann and her husband Charlie Rogers, Hillsboro, OH, bother Benjamin (Kathy) Apple, Peyton, CO, sisters, Rae (Johnny K.) Thompson, Leupp, AZ and Carolyn (Randy) Cundiff, Tipp City, OH, stepmother, Genie Apple, Tipp City as well as 13 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Rick proudly served his county in the United States Marine Corp, and was retired from Dick Lavy Trucking where he worked as a dispatcher. He was a member of the Eagles Aerie 2201, American Legion Post 586 and the Zion Lutheran Church all in Tipp City.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Zion Lutheran Church, 14 W. Walnut St., Tipp City, OH; Pastor Jeff Glawe officiating, burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. A gathering of friends will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371. Contributions may be made in loving memory of Rick to Hospice of Miami County.
