Dungan, Richard Eugene age 81 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at Upper Valley Medical Center. Born November 11, 1928 in Dayton, Ohio to Eldon and Geraldine {Reeder} Dungan. Preceded in death by his parents, his wife; Joyce in 2006, brother; Robert Dungan and sister Margie Tackett. Richard was retired from Dayton Daily News and served in the United States Army during WWII, he was also a member of the First Baptist Church, Tipp City. He is survived by his children; Steve and his wife Judy Dungan, Mike and his wife Debbie Dungan, and Linda Dungan all of Tipp City. Scott and his wife Cindy Dungan, New Carlisle, one sister Barbara Hoffman, Stanley, Virginia and a sister in-law; Virginia Dungan, Huber Heights. Also surviving are grandchildren; Greg (Leslie) Dungan, Paul (Missy) Dungan, Matt (Cassie) Dungan, Kristen (Travis) Carter, Ashley (Kenny) Campbell, Sara Dungan and great-grandchildren; Madison, Ethan, Emma, Noah, Grace and Mason Dungan, Ben Campbell and Leah Carter. Funeral Service 10:30 AM Monday January 4, 2010 at the First Baptist Church, 6533 S. Tipp-Cowelsville Rd. Tipp City Pastor Gary Boggs and Grandson, Greg Dungan officiating.
