Coppock Randy G. 62 of Troy passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Upper Valley Medical Center following a brief illness. Born December 15, 1949 in Troy, Ohio to William and Mary {Perkins} Coppock, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death is a brother; Dick Coppock. He is survived by his wife; Brenda {Mathis} Coppock, children; Rick Mathis, Jeff (Brenda) Venturino and Brandi (Philip) Smith all of Troy, OH, sister; Joyce Smith, GA, Rose Denney, Troy, John Coppock, GA and Phillip Coppock, Germany. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren; Amy (Bobby) Swabb, Troy, OH, Brandon "Scooter" Mathis, Ashley Smith, Austin Smith, Cindy Staten, Sarah Staten all of Troy, Trina Patrick, Tipp City and Casey (Derek) McMurchy, Springfield, 10 great grandchildren, several loving nieces, nephews and special friends and his beloved dog; Cocoa. Randy was retired from Apex Tool and Die, Troy, OH, was a member of the Tipp City Church of the Nazarene where he was a very active leader with Spikes Youth Group, enjoyed fishing, hunting, vegetable gardening, cruising and working on his '57 Chevy. He could also been seen every Christmas season ringing the bell for the Salvation Army. Randy was an all-around "good guy" and his joy for life and helping others will be missed. He was a blessing to all who knew him. A "Celebration of Life" service will be held at 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the Tipp City Church of the Nazarene, 1221 W. Main St., Tipp City, Pastor Brad Warkentine officiating. Family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 PM prior to the service at the church. Services have been entrusted to FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371.
