Ralph E. Grigsby 83 of Tipp City went to be with Jesus April 28, 2015.
Born April 11, 1932 to Arthur and Elsie (Wolfe) Grigsby. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 46 years, Joanne (Honeyman) Grigsby; three brothers, Arthur, Robert, Paul Grigsby, and three sisters, Barbara Grigsby, Janet Cain, and Beverly Webb.
He is survived by two sisters, Doris Compton and Pamela Fogt; brother-in-law, Lefty Cain, and several nieces and nephews.
He is also survived by his special family; sisters-in-law Betty Gossett (Jim), Nancy Cook (Larry); nieces Tina Cook, Gail Blackburn (Eugene); nephews Joshua Blackburn (Anna), Johnathan Blackburn; great nephews Samuel and Philip Blackburn.
Ralph was retired from Hobart Brothers where he worked most of his life, first gardening outdoors and then as a welder.
He was a member of Ginghamsburg United Methodist Church where he and Joanne were married in 1955. He enjoyed sharing about the experience he had with Jesus in Heaven.
He enjoyed boating at St. Mary's lake. His passion was country music and he enjoyed his many trips to Opryland and all the concerts and dances he and Joanne attended.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00p.m. on Friday May, 1, 2015 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main Street, Tipp City. Lay Pastor Nancy Boedeker officiating. Visitation will be Thursday April 30, from 6:00PM to 8:00 PM.
