Hanganu, Radu age 53 died October 10, 2016 at the UCLA Medical Center, CA. Born on September 24, 1963 in Girov, Romania. Radu worked as a petroleum engineer in Romania as well as other parts of the world before relocating to California in 2005. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer (Pierson) Hanganu, formerly of Vandalia-Butler township and his daughter Tori of Bakersfield, California, as well as his daughter Ioana Elena Hanganu of Costa Mesa, California; his mother Ana Hanganu of Piatra Neamt, Romania; his brother and sister-in-law Adrian and Cristina Hanganu of Ia?i, Romania; his sister Roxana Corfu and his niece Andreea Corfu of Piatra Neamt, as well as dear uncles, aunts and cousins. His "Mom and Dad", Ernie and Barb Pierson of Bethel Township and his extended Ohio family. He is preceded in death by his father Nicolaie Hanganu. Visitation in Ohio will be held at Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home, Tipp City, on Tuesday, October 18th, from 5-7 pm. A graveside service will take place Wednesday at 10:00 am at Spring Grove Cemetery near St. Paris, Ohio.
