Berry, Phyllis Jon "P.J." age 61 of Tipp City passed away at home on Monday, January 22, 2018. Born March 23, 1956 in Dayton, OH to John F. and Esther Lucille {Allen} Hale. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Pamela {Hale} Rodberg. She is survived by her loving husband, David Berry, sons, Matt J. (Megan) Berry of Windermere, FL, Jay C. (Megan) Berry and granddaughter Addison Marie Berry of Olathe, KS. Brother, Pat (Pamela) Hale, Tipp City and sister Penelope {Hale} Vaughn, Dayton, Ohio.

P.J. was a 1978 graduate of Miami University and earned dual Master's Degrees in administration and curriculum from the University of Dayton and Wright State University. She taught math for 30 years at Northmont Middle School and was in her 10th year of teaching math at Concord Elementary School in Troy. PJ had also been a Muse Machine Advisor for 24 years.

She loved traveling with her family and enjoyed trips all over the United States as well as Europe. PJ enjoyed watching movies, Broadway shows, live music, and was a wonderful baker. She was an active member of The Aullwood Audubon Center, The Dayton Art Institute and Victoria Theatre Association.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Noon on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Zion Lutheran Church, 14 W. Walnut St., Tipp City, OH. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time of service at Noon. Arrangements have been entrusted to FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, Tipp City.
