Myers, Philip Ivan age 60 of Tipp City, formerly of Springfield passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday June 25, 2014 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. Born August 3, 1953 in Millersburg, OH to Robert and Marjorie Eva {Miller} Myers. He is survived by his parents; Robert and Marjorie Myers of Springfield, OH, sons; Jeremy T. and Justin P. Myers both of Tipp City, brother; Mark and his wife Faith Myers, Goshen, IN, sister, Laurie and her husband Neal Weaver, Harrisonburg, Virginia as well as many nieces and nephews. Philip was a graduate of Northeastern High School, employed by KTHD in Urbana, OH and attended Ginghamsburg Church. He loved old trucks and semis and enjoyed watching NASCAR races and movies with his two sons, who were the loves of his life. He was a very kind, loving and generous man and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral service will be held at Noon on Monday June 30, 2014 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371, burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of service at Noon on Monday at the funeral home.
