Harris, Phil age 63 of Troy, Ohio passed away peacefully Sunday morning November 11, 2012 at his residence following a courageous eight year battle with ALS. Born March 24, 1949 in Harrodsburg, KY to Clarence Walker and Mary (Turner) Harris who preceded him in death. Phil is a retired CPA from Lairds Tax Agency, Springfield, OH; a graduate of Wright State University and attended the Ginghamsburg United Methodist Church. Surviving Phil are his wife of 32 years Phyllis (Conley) Harris; his children Shannon Forsythe and his wife Lynne, Troy; Jeremy Harris and his wife Carri, Columbus, IN; and Kellie Wise and her husband Steven, Arlington, TX. Brother Larry Harris and his wife Rosa, Dayton; and sister Teresa Boggs and her husband Ron, New Lebanon, OH. Eight grandchildren; Samuel, Gage, Jacob, Karlie, Zachary, Alexander, Barrett, and LeAnn. And last but not least his special friend, his dog, Chloe. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 pm Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 West Main Street, Tipp City, OH 45371. Visitation will be Tuesday 5 - 8 pm prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be held on Wednesday at the Conley Family Cemetery in Wrigley, KY.
