Hughes, Perry S. age 89 of Troy, Ohio died Sunday, January 11, 2015. Born May 8, 1925 in Bethel Township, Clark County, Ohio to Vincent Perkins and Pearl Mae (Ryan) Hughes. Perry proudly served his country in the Navy during WW II. He was the owner and operator of West Milton Precision Tool, Vandalia. Preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife of 50 years Lula M. Hughes in 2013. Also, preceding him are siblings and spouses; Archmodes Herst Hughes, Percy Palmer Hughes (Alyce), Bertsial Permit Hughes (Nellie), Preston Vincent Hughes, Patrel Emril Hughes (Jean), Harry Paul Hughes (Wanda), Pansy Rachael Fisher (Chet), Priscilla Mae Yeazell, Leona Pearl Brock. Surviving is his son Robert and his wife Joyce Houshel, Rio Rancho, NM; sister Pauline and her husband Gary Jackson, Wadsworth, OH; brother Phillip L. and his wife Shirley Hughes, Tipp City. Grandchildren Robert Houshel, GA, Denise Houshel, CA, Sam and his wife Lisa Houshel, Troy, and great grandchildren Montana, Miranda, and Cole Houshel and numerous nieces and nephews. Perry was a member of the American Legion #586, Tipp City. He loved dancing, playing cards, fishing at Lake St. Mary's, and especially his grand and great grandkids and family. Funeral service will be held 11:00 am Thursday, January 15, 2015 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City.
