Samuel, Paul D. age 57 of Bethel Township, Tipp City died Friday May 6, 2011 at Hospice of Dayton after a brief illness. Born October 13, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio to Edgar and Elizabeth (Greene) Samuel. A steamfitter and boiler operator at WPAFB and served in the US Marine Corp during the Vietnam era. Paul was a member of the Ginghamsburg United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge #174 Tipp City, Fraternal Order of Eagles #2201 Tipp City where he participated on the golf team, and held the following offices in the lodge; Aerie, District, and Zone officer; and Deputy State President and Southwest Ohio Zone State Vice President. Surviving Paul are his loving wife of 33 years Neva (Jenkins) Samuel; son Grant Samuel; and daughter Aubrey Samuel both at home. Sisters Carolyn (Jim) Burke, West Liberty, OH; Peggy (Richard) Corcoran, South Vienna, OH. Brothers William (Kim) Samuel, Ocoee, FL; Rick (Susan) Samuel, Columbus, OH; and his mother and father-in-law Lynn and Vera Jenkins, Tipp City. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday May 11, 2011 at Ginghamsburg United Methodist Church, Main Campus. Visitation 5 - 8 pm Tuesday at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 West Main Street, Tipp City, Ohio 45371. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Paul.
