Blackburn, Paul E. 78 of Bethel Township, Tipp City, OH passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Springmeade Health Care Center, Tipp City. Born October 18, 1936 in Crumb, West Virginia to Earl and Ermengarde "Gardi" {Copley} Blackburn. He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Johnny Blackburn and brothers, Millard and Ray Blackburn. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Fleta {Shackelford} Blackburn, Bethel Township, sons, Carl (Kristen) Blackburn, Cincinnati, OH, Paul "Eugene" (Gail) Blackburn, New Carlisle, OH, daughter, Juanita Blackburn, Tipp City, sisters, Erlene Evans, WV, Betty (Clyde) Evans, WV, Nellie (Arthur) Ferguson, WV and brother Charles (Marilyn) Blackburn, Columbus, OH as well as grandchildren, Josh (Anna) Blackburn, John Blackburn, Brad Blackburn, Crystal Blackburn (Cory Bohn), and Doug Blackburn and great grandchildren, Samuel, Philip & Haley Blackburn and Cwenlee Bohn. Paul was a retired truck driver from Kruse Hardware. He loved to farm, fish, hunt and going to auctions and yard sales as well as having his own yard sales. Funeral services will be held at Noon on Tuesday, April 22, 2015 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371; Pastor Dorsie Fyffe officiating, burial to follow in West Charleston Cemetery, Bethel Township. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made in loving memory of Paul to Hospice of Miami County.
