Skow, Patrick "Pat" 72 of Tipp City passed away suddenly Wednesday January 5, 2011 at Grandview Medical Center Dayton. Born March 21, 1938 in Omaha, Nebraska to Ray C. and Mary O' (Polzine) Skow, who preceded him in death along with his 3 sisters. He leaves behind his wife; Carolyn (Kollock) Skow, Tipp City, daughter; DeAnna and her husband Michael Kaup of Hilton Head, SC, son; Brian and his wife Jeanette Skow of Washington, DC, grandchildren; Jeremiah, Tipp City, Sophia and Isabella, Hilton Head, SC and Savannah of Washington, DC. Pat received his degree from Missouri School of Mines in Rolla Missouri and worked as a Metallurgical Engineer at Delco Moraine in Dayton before moving with his wife in 1962 to Huntsville, AL to work for NASA for 6 years as a Program Manager on the Saturn V Rocket to the Moon; one of his proudest accomplishments. In 1968 they moved to Troy, Ohio where he began an over 40 year career with Goodrich. Pat was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and the Lions Club, Tipp City. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Memorial service 6 PM Sunday, January 9, 2011. Visitation 4 to 6 PM prior to the service at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St. Tipp City, Ohio 45371. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Pat's name to the Tipp City Educational Endowment Fund.
