Patricia Goldie Morones, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and steadfast member of her community, passed away on May 24, 2026, in her home in Tipp City, Ohio. Born on November 8, 1937, in West Liberty, Kentucky, Patricia’s life was marked by unwavering faith, boundless love for her family, and a commitment to excellence in both her personal and professional endeavors.
Patricia’s greatest joy was found with her devoted husband, Philip Morones around whom her world lovingly revolved. She is survived by; her children Robbie Morones of Phoenix, Arizona, James Morones of Tipp City, Ohio, John (Kara) Morones of Huber Heights, Ohio and daughter-in-law Rhonda Gross of Casstown and her sister, Carol (Sam) Douglas of Kentucky. Patricia also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren Shaun (Misty) Gross, Megan (Jason) Morones Lewis, Madeline (Nick) Morones Riha, and Robert Morones, whose lives she touched deeply. Her legacy extends warmly into the next generation with great-grandchildren Hunter, Tadyn, Liliana, Londyn, Kennedy, Ben, and Rosalie, who brought immeasurable happiness to her heart.
Patricia’s journey was shaped by the love and memory of those who preceded her: her parents, George Wilson Ferguson and Ines {Stevens} Ferguson, and her son, Michael Gross, and grandson Matthew Gross whose absence is deeply felt. Throughout her life, Patricia’s compassion and strength were evident as she nurtured her family and embraced the joys of life, including her love of reading books, gardening, and spending time outdoors in the tranquility of nature.
Friends and family will gather to honor Patricia’s life with a visitation on May 29, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by funeral services at 12:00 p.m. at Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home, located at 327 West Main Street, Tipp City, Ohio. After these ceremonies, Patricia will be laid to rest at St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Tipp City.
