Obituary

Gray, Oscar L. 75 of Tipp City passed away Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, OH. He was born November 11, 1938 in Troy, OH to the late Everett and Gladys M. {Stark} Gray. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by a nephew; Jeffrey Gray in 1999. He is survived by his sister; Carol Stonerock, Bradford, OH, nephews; Robert Stonerock, Nashport, OH and Kevin Stonerock, Bradford, OH, numerous great nieces and nephews and cousins, aunt; Betty Stark, cousins; Pat Singer, Beverly Stark, Lois Wright, Larry Stark, Terry Stark and Judy Stark. Oscar was a 1959 graduate of Tippecanoe High School, a member of the Tipp City United Methodist Church and the Tipp City Senior Citizens. He had worked for GUM products and IVEX Corp for many years as a janitor. Oscar was affectionately known by the locals as "The Big O". He was a friendly soul who always spoke to everyone. He will be missed by all who called him "friend". Funeral services will be held AT 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371, Pastor Bonita Wood officiating, burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
