Obituary

Robinson, Opal , age 93 of Tipp City, Ohio died Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Randall Residence, Tipp City. Born May 14, 1922 in Louisa, KY to John Henry and Sena Belle (Hollbrook) Seagraves. Preceded in death by her parents and her husband Thurman M. Robinson in 2011; brothers Clyde, Willie "Dude", James, Henry "Junior", and Leonard Seagraves. Opal was a lifelong resident of Tipp City and proud of it. She was a homemaker and worked in several retails shops in Tipp City including Topper Dress Shop, Chmiel's IGA, Kmart in Troy, Cramer's Pharmacy and she especially loved working at Butler's Variety Store selling penny candy to the children. Surviving are her children Carolyn (Jack) Kinninger, Arcanum; James "Bud" (Debby) Robinson, Dayton; and Sena Robinson, Centerville. Grandchildren Jeff (Miki) Robinson, Matt (Marci) Robinson, Amy and Mandi Kinninger. Nine great grandchildren. Opal's specialty was baking and cooking. She was famously known for her delicious candy, cakes and pies. Her most precious love was her family and grandkids who brought her much joy. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 10:30 am at Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home, 327 W. Main St. Tipp City, OH 45371. Lay Pastor John Seagraves officiating with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 pm on Sunday at Frings and Bayliff.
