Furlong, Norma "Liz" 79 of Tipp City passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Troy Rehabilitation Center. Born January 15, 1934 in Brandt, OH, Miami County to the late Clarence and Robbie {Sherman} Hoagland. Also preceding her in death are; husband, Raymond "Rayme" Furlong in 2002, brother Clarence "Eddie" Hoagland and great grandson, Liam Slattery. She is survived by her children; Kevin and his wife Angela Furlong, New Carlisle, Rayma Pottenger, West Milton, and Ronda Slusher, Tipp City, sister; Gladys "Ine" Spence, brother, Jimmy Hoagland both of New Carlisle, OH, sister, Jowona Roberts, Springfield, OH, 4 grandchildren; Kyle Furlong, Alsesha Holbrock, Amber Pottenger and Brianna Slusher along with great grandchildren; Grant Holbrock and Rylan Slusher. "Liz" was a graduate of Bethel High School, a member of the VFW and Eagles in both Tipp City and New Carlisle as well as the American Legion Auxiliary, Tipp City. She was a big NASCAR, Reds and Browns fan and loved vacationing in Canada and Las Vegas. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 12:30 PM at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371, burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM Saturday prior to service at the funeral home.
