Howell, Nola Sue age 60 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024. Nola was born January 29, 1964 in Troy, Ohio to Frank Howell and Florence {Gilbert} Applegate. She is survived by her parents, two sons, and a granddaughter; Bradley Blackburn of Sarasota, Florida, Douglas (Jamie) Blackburn of Columbus, Ohio, and the light of her life, Haley Blackburn. Also surviving are sisters; Kim Angles of Urbana, Ohio and Tanya (Bill) Dean of Tipp City, Ohio.

Nola was a proud resident of Tipp City all her life. She graduated from Tippecanoe High School, Class of 1982. Nola was a deeply caring person who ran an in-home childcare, worked caring for the elderly, and finally continued her education to become a medical assistant. Nola was known as a very nurturing and kindhearted person. Her greatest passion was caring for family, friends, and animals. Her family was everything to her, especially her only grandchild, Haley. The bond the two of them shared was like no other.

A visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 PM on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME , 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371. Attendees are encouraged to wear a splash of Nola's favorite color, purple. Interment and graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM the following day, Friday, February 23, 2024 at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City.
