Comer, Miriam A. age 88, of Tipp City, Ohio passed away peacefully at 4:25am, Sunday, October 13, 2024. She was born January 28, 1936 to Harold E. and Luella M. (Helmlinger) Schumann, who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her husband Roger Comer, whom she married on January 13, 1956. Also preceding her in death is brother, Melvin (Mary Lou) Schumann and son-in-law, Mike Davis. Miriam is survived by her three children; daughter, Leann Davis of Houston, Ohio, sons, Rod (Emmie) Comer of Brookville, Ohio, and Randy (Teresa) Comer of Versailles, Ohio. Additionally, she is survived by her two grandchildren; Tim (Sunie) Davis of Brookville, Ohio and Kaitlynn (Shane) Osberg of Tipp City, Ohio and great-grandchild, Owen Osberg. She is also survived by step-grandchildren; Jhen Macaroncio, Jhun Macaroncio, and step great-grandchildren; Julianna, Josiah and Jasmine Garcia of Manila. Also surviving her is her nephew, Barry (Sandy) Schumann and family of Columbus, Ohio.

Miriam was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and loved the congregation dearly, sending cards to everyone. She was also a volunteer at the Clothesline in Tipp City. She enjoyed spending time with her family & friends, baking, and helping others.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, November 1, 2024 at Zion Lutheran Church, 14 W. Walnut St., Tipp City, OH. Family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until time of service at 4:00 PM at the church with supper to follow at 5:00 PM. The family has requested in lieu of flowers that donations be made in loving memory of Miriam to Ohio's Hospice of Miami County, the Zion Lutheran Church or charity of your choice.
