Warren, Michael Garrett, 29 of Beavercreek, formerly of Tipp City passed away Tuesday, November 05, 2013 after a hard fought battle with leukemia. Born September 25, 1984 in Tarzana, CA to Richard P. and Hallie K. {Tonnesen} Warren. He is survived by his parents; Richard and Hallie, Broadbrook, CT, sister; Samantha and her husband Ricky Austin, Springfield, OH, brother; Ronald A. Warren, Cleveland, OH, Grandparents; Berit and Jim Lama Nilsson, Columbus, OH, Edwin and Marilou Tonnesen, Newark, OH, and Ronald and Shirley Warren, California, uncle; Jeff Tonnesen, Granville, OH and his loving girlfriend of 2 years; Lexy Ehler, Beavercreek, OH. Michael was a 2003 graduate of Tippecanoe High School where he played on the varsity soccer team. He also attended and played soccer for Ohio Northern University. He joined the United States Air Force, where he proudly served in the Global War on Terrorism. He was awarded a Service Medal as a member of the Medical Support Squadron from WPAFB, earned an outstanding unit award, National Defense Service Medal and AF Training Ribbon. Michael will forever be remembered for charismatic personality, positive attitude and bringing joy and humor to everyone who met him. Funeral service 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 9, 2013 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371, burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery, Springfield, OH. Family will receive friends from 3:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
