Gross, Michael G. "Mike" age 79 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Michael was born on June 29, 1945 in Mercer County, Ohio to the late Gregory and Monica {Kaup} Gross. He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter Sarah Gross, infant brother Thomas Gross, siblings Lavern (Ann) Gross, Patricia Schlater, and brother-in- law David Fink. Michael is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Elizabeth "Betty" Gross, children Laura (Brad) Quillen of Greenville, Ohio, Bradley (Patti) Gross of Tipp City, Ohio, siblings Betti (Jerry) Tonner of Florida, John (Carol) Gross of Troy, Ohio, Marlene Fink of Texas, Charles (Marion) Gross of Virginia, Mark (Debrah) Gross of Coldwater, Ohio, brother-in-law Melvin Schlater of Cincinnati, Ohio. Also surviving are five grandchildren Lynnette Pearson, Jonathan (Danielle) Pearson, Katie (Josh) Bellas, Michael and Missy Gross, and two great grandchildren Roman and Ivan Olveralayna.

Mike was part owner of Creative Extruded Products. He was an active member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, and Tipp City Rotary Club. When he was young he liked to play baseball and football. Later in Mike's life he loved doing anything outside; hunting, fishing, and teaching the younger generation about nature skills through "youth hunts". He loved to travel and go to gatherings with his family and friends. Michael was a skilled woodworker, enjoyed playing cards and was a big Ohio State Buckeye fan. He was very creative and had a fantastic sense of humor which included constructing his own gag gifts. Michael was a true family man. His legacy will live on through the stories and memories told by all who knew and loved him.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371. The Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12:00 PM Saturday, December 28, 2024 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 753 S. Hyatt St., Tipp City. Father Andrew Smith, Celebrant. The family will receive guests one hour prior to Mass at the church. Michael will be laid to rest next to his daughter Sarah at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Tipp City.
