Zimmer, Melva Rae , (83) of Tipp City, OH passed away peacefully August 9, 2021, surrounded by the Love of her Family.  Melva was the daughter of Maddie and James Taylor of Middletown, OH.  She is preceded in death by her husband Michael Zimmer Sr. and her sisters Opal Brate and Donna Taylor.  She is survived by her children Stephanie Zimmer-Masters of Tipp City, OH, Victoria (Mark) Lockhorn of Cincinnati, OH, Mitzi Zimmer (Greg Hornsby) of Troy, OH and Michael Zimmer Jr. of Cape Coral, FL.  She is also survived by her Grandchildren Samantha Hughes, Nicholas Demmitt, Nathaniel (Megan) Hughes, Michael P. Hughes and Andrea Welsh and Great Grandchildren Kaylor Hughes, Harper and Jameson Hughes.  Additionally, she is survived by her sister Virginia Morris and nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as her best friend Rosemary Thies, many friends & extended family members.

Melva was devoted to her family and often said that her biggest accomplishment was her children and grandchildren.  She was Mom, Grandma and Confidant to so many more than just family members.  She was a small business owner for more than 40 years with many of her customers becoming close friends and extended family.  She will be immensely missed by all who loved and knew her.

Services for Melva are to be determined. The family wants to thank everyone for the tremendous outpouring of support and prayers.
