Hale, Mary Lou {Henson} age 93 of Tipp City, OH passed away peacefully at Troy Center on Sunday, December 3, 2017 surrounded by family. She was born on December 4, 1923 in Marshall County, KY to David and May {Downing} Henson. Mary was preceded in death by both parents, husband John Hale, sister, Lola Houser, daughter Sherry Poff and daughter in-law, Joyce Hale. She is survived by daughter, Faye (Frank) Cromer, son, John (Louise) Hale, son, Jim Hale, son in-law, Ron Poff, grandchildren, Kristi (John), Shane (Clarissa), Sabrina (Gary), Shannon (Jeff) and Faith and great grandchildren, Kelsey, Benjamin, Jackson, Garrett, Tyler, Xander, Paul Jr., Ronnie and Levi. During WWII Mary was a "Rosie the Riveter". She loved traveling, cooking and was a huge Cincinnati Reds fan. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family most of all. She is loved and will be dearly missed by all. Funeral service 1:00 PM, Thursday, December 7, 2017 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery, Vandalia, OH. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
