Bailey, Mary Kathleen, age 72 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Mount Carmel East Hospital in Columbus. Born February 26, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio to Florence (Swartzbaugh) and Homer Conner. She married Frank G. Bailey in 1968 and lived in happiness until Frank's passing in 1996. She was caring and nurturing soul, she took care and worked to bring back to health countless people as a professional nurse until her retirement in 2005 from Upper Valley Medical Center. Mary was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Tipp City; a 1965 graduate of St. Elizabeth Hospital School of Nursing and a member of Sigma Kappa Honor Society. She was a very talented seamstress, loved gardening, cooking, and painting. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank, and Robert Price and Betty Bailey. Surviving Mary are her cousin and "special brother" Kenneth (Marjorie) Price, Troy; cousin and "special son" John (Heather) Bruns and daughters Josephine and Ambriana Bruns, Pickerington, OH. Brothers and sister-in-laws Carol (Paul) Greene, Atlanta, GA; Harold Bailey and son Harold Jr., Dayton; Gail (Kelley) Moore, Huber Heights. Cousins, nieces and nephews, Sarah (Earl) Chasteen; Virginia Hord; Mary Jane Benson; James Price; Sheryl (Gary) Lewis; Mark (Natalie) Price and their children Mark and Nicholas Price; Amy Rawers (Chris Crum) and her children Meagan and Brock Rawers; Bryce and Kenny Stupp; Kathy (John) Marsh; Megan (Riley) Snyder; and James Marsh. Karen Price and children Monica (Mark) Stephenson; Philip Price; Stefan (Shari) Price; and Brett (Becky) Price. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 753 S. Hyatt Street, Tipp City, OH 45371. Father R. Marc Sherlock celebrant. Burial to follow at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Tipp City. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday prior to the mass from 9:30 to 11:00 am. Mary wished for donations to be made in her memory to a charity or non-profit organization of the donors choice which is dedicated to saving lives.
