Brown, Martha A. "Georgie" age 81 of Stout, Ohio, formerly of Bethel Township passed away peacefully Friday, May 6, 2016 with family by her side. Born December 19, 1934 in Jackson, KY to Miriam and Nannie Bell (Hogg) Back. Martha was baptized in the Freewill Baptist Church. Surviving Georgie are her husband and her children: She was the loving wife of Gwinn Brown for 63 years and the dedicated mother of her children Don (Denise) Brown, Abilene, TX; Richard (Annette) Brown, New Carlisle, OH; Miriam Elliott, Stout, OH; Wanda (Jeff) Bear, Dayton; Kathy (Mike) Furlong, Bethel Township. Also surviving are sister Hildred (Ardell) Laycox, Greenville, OH; and brother Jim Back, Elizabethtown, KY. Seven grandchildren Christy Dolinger, James Brown, Clare Fabrizio, Taylor Brown, Gwinn Elliott, Kelli Bear, and Kenneth Furlong. She was also blessed with nine great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, brothers Ed, Dale, and Herbert Back and sisters Mildred and Bonnie. Georgie was a big fan of all the kids' activities. She thoroughly enjoyed supporting all they did helping with concessions, driving, and coaching. Her door was always open for all the kids and was delighted to help in any way possible! Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 13, 2016 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W Main St. Tipp City, OH 45371. Burial to follow in West Charleston Cemetery, West Charleston, OH. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 12th as well as from 10:30 to 11:00 on Friday prior to the service.
