Rittenhouse, Mark Edward 48 and his son Ryan Edward Rittenhouse 18 passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2015. They are survived by wife and mother, Tonya {Orput} Rittenhouse, Tipp City, Mark's parents, Jeffery P. and Cathy L. {Stocker} Rittenhouse, Tipp City, Mark's siblings, Teresa Cool, Remington, IN, David Rittenhouse, Joe (Christina) Rittenhouse, Greg Rittenhouse and Niki (Thomas) Malone all of Tipp City as well as many nieces and nephews. Also surviving is Ryan's maternal grandmother Kathy Fenton and Uncle Derek Orput both of Vandalia, OH. Ryan is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, David Orput. Mark was a 1985 graduate of Tippecanoe High School. He proudly served his country during Desert Storm in the United States Army and worked for Bud Polley's Flooring Center as a warehouse manager for many years. Mark was an avid golfer, played guitar and loved 4-wheeling ATV's. He and Ryan had a very close relationship and enjoyed many activities together. Ryan was a 2015 graduate of Tippecanoe High School. He holds the 2015 high school state championship bowling title and had bowled several "300" games. Ryan also enjoyed playing guitar and was involved in the Tipp City Paranormal society. He was employed by Browse Awhile Books. Both Mark and Ryan were quiet souls who were loved by many family and friends. Their departure from this life has left an empty space in the hearts of their loved ones that in time will be filled with only happy memories of this beloved husband, father, son, brother and grandson. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 4:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday.
