Gray, Marion Thomas, age 84, passed away September 17, 2010 after an extended illness. A long-time resident of Dayton, he was born July 7, 1926 in Poplar Plains, KY to Thomas Payne and Della Boyd Gray. He was preceded in death by sister, Lucille Taylor, brothers, Estin and Eugene and niece, Nancy Pennington. Beloved uncle to nieces, Teddy Brock, Eve Gray; nephews Eric (Marla) Brock, Ryan Brock, and Darek (Shannon) Wood and many other nieces and nephews. Mr. Gray retired from E.F. MacDonald Co. and was a faithful member of North Riverdale Grace Brethren Church until his illness. His gentle nature and humorous comments endeared him to the staff of Cypress Pointe Health Campus. The family wishes to thank them and Vitas Hospice Care for their loving assistance. Graveside services will be officiated by Pastor Tad Hobert at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Memorial Park Cemetery on N. Dixie Drive, Dayton.
