Foley, Margaret Lelah {Stouffs}, age 98 of Tipp City, OH, passed away peacefully, Saturday, January 17, 2015, at SpringMeade Retirement Community, Tipp City, OH. She was born May 29, 1916, in Richmond, VA, to Arthur J. and Lelah E. {Sell} Stouffs. Preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ernest P. Foley, her parents, and her siblings Arthur J. Stouffs and Mary E. Metzger. She is survived by her four children, Robert (Chris) Foley, Sugarcreek Township, OH, Ernest (Kathy) Foley, Wausau, WI, Mary Foley and longtime family friend, Georgia Moonis, Lutherville, MD, and Ann Foley, Tipp City, OH. She was a loving grandmother to Mike (Kris) Foley, Brecksville, OH, Kevin (Jeanne) Foley, Astoria, NY, Danny (Lauren) Foley, Astoria, NY, Alison Foley and Sarah Foley, Denver, CO, and great-grandmother to Jack, Katelyn and Lauren Foley, Brecksville, OH. Margaret also is survived by daughter-in-law Gianna Foley, Clayton, OH, and numerous nieces and nephews. Margaret served her country as a LT JG in the United States Navy Nurse Corps. from 1943 to 1945. She represents the family's last member of the "Greatest Generation." She lived her life devoted to her family and her Catholic faith. She was very proud of her family and loved each one very much. Her daily prayers for her family will be missed. The family expresses its thanks for the attentive care Margaret received during her two years at SpringMeade and to Hospice of Miami County for the compassionate care during her final days. Visitation Friday, January 23, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371. Funeral Liturgy, 10:00 AM Saturday, January 24, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 753 S. Hyatt St., Tipp City, OH 45371. Interment 3:00 PM in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 5025 N. Goshen Rd., Huntington, IN. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Margaret's memory to the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Card and Shawl Ministries.
