Hegman, Marcia, a cherished wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on April 4th, surrounded by her loving family. She was 77 years old. Born on February 27 in Ohio, Marcia lived a vibrant life marked by dedication to her family, career, and passions. For several years, she built a respected career as a banker, where her warm demeanor left a lasting impression on colleagues and clients alike. Her professional success was matched only by her devotion to her family and creative pursuits. An accomplished watercolor artist, Marcia found joy in capturing the beauty of the world around her, often painting serene landscapes that reflected her gentle spirit. Her artwork was a source of pride and a gift she shared with those she loved. She was also a passionate contributor to the Tipp City Mum Festival and Pageant and the Tipp City Jayceettes, where her enthusiasm for community shone brightly. Whatever the cause, she brought energy and grace to every moment. Marcia had a gift for bringing people together and made everyone she met feel special. Above all, Marcia was devoted to her family. She leaves behind a loving husband, John, her sister Cathy (Rich), and two children, Paula (Roger) and David (Cassi), all with whom she had unwavering love. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren Emma (Jonathan), Sara, Jack, Tyler, Kenslee, Carson, and Layla—all of whom were the light of her life. She delighted in their every milestone. Marcia's legacy is one of loving kindness, creativity, and connection. Her family and friends will forever cherish her generous heart and the countless ways she enriched their lives.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Calvary Cemetery Chapel, 1625 Calvary Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45409 with burial to follow.
