HIRSCH, Lula (Lou) 81, of Tipp City, died Thursday, April 10, 2014 at her home. Born April 28, 1932 in Stanford, Kentucky to Grover C. and Lula B. House. Preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters, Martha Keeton, Ruth Baker and Gussie Grubbs; 2 brothers, Frank and Grover C. House; and their childrens father, Robert Hirsch; and special friend, William Scott. Lou is survived by her children, Thomas M. Hirsch, Belleair Bluffs, FL, Katherine "Kathy" Herzog, Largo, FL, and David (Christine) Hirsch, Chicago, IL; along with sister, Sue (Bill) Million, Lanesville, IN; brothers, John (Jean) House, Lexington, KY, Robert (Melba) House, Amarillo, TX; 3 grandchildren, John Robert Hirsch, Mark and Ryan Herzog; great grandson, Bradley Herzog; sister-in-law, Audrey House; special friends, Jan (Bob) Burns, New Carlisle, OH; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Lou had worked for Bowling Moorman Publications as an executive secretary for 26 years before retiring. She volunteered her time to The Clothesline, Needy Basket and FISH and was a member of the Tipp City Senior Citizens. She was an avid and competitive bridge and euchre player and competed in horseshoes. Graveside services will take place at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Maple Hill Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be held following the service at the Tipp City Senior Citizens Center, S. First Street. Arrangements have been entrusted to FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371. Donations may be made in loving memory of Lou to The Clothesline or Needy Basket.
