Clingan, Loretta J. "Boots" age 81 of Vandalia, OH passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Grandview Hospital, Dayton, OH.  Born July 1, 1939 in Tipp City, OH to John and Bessie {Polley} Manson.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Carl E. Clingan and brother; Ed Manson.  Loretta is survived by her children; Cindy (Randy) Graham, Vandalia, OH, Jo (Sherrod) Cowen, Wills Point, TX and Tom Clingan, Vandalia, OH,  sister; Peggy Howe, North Carolina and 3 grandchildren; Curt Wagner, Robyn Baynqs and Ameelya Wagner.

Loretta worked in the cafeteria at Vandalia Butler School and was fondly referred to as the "Lunch Lady" by her family and friends.  She enjoyed sewing, fishing, ceramics and bowling. Loretta loved spending time at Lake St. Mary's with her husband and family as well as birdwatching; especially the eagles.

Funeral service will be held at 12PM on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371; Pastor Ryan Shellabarger officiating.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City.  Visitation 11:00 AM until time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
