Staley, Lora D., age 86, of Tipp City, went home to be with her Lord Monday, December 19, 2016 at Miami County Hospice in Troy, Ohio. She was born Lora Dean Martin on November 20, 1930 in Greenup, Kentucky to the late Frank and Sophie {Meeks} Martin. She married John J. Staley on March 25, 1955 who preceded her in death on June 24, 2015. Lora is now in Heaven in God's arms and with her loving husband of 62 years, John. Lora is survived by five daughters; Denise (Mick) Bjerke, Tipp City, Ohio, Melissa (Randy) Seiter, Springfield, Ohio, Mary (Pat) Cunningham, Tipp City, Ohio, Lorie (Kurt) Koehler, Tipp City, Ohio and Annette Egbert, St. Paris, Ohio, thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by two sisters; Clotela Thomas, Eve Deskins and her great-grandson Troy Mathew Hurchanik. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 26, 2016 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Tipp City. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home. Donations may be made in loving memory of Lora to Hospice of Miami County.
