Linda Sue Schindler-Wisecup, age 75, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2026, in Kettering, Ohio, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Linda was born on December 17, 1950, in Dayton, Kentucky, to William and Erma Arwood. Her faith in Jesus Christ was the center of her life and could be seen in the way she loved and cared for others every day.

Linda devoted much of her life to encouraging and supporting women through Bible studies and women’s ministry. She was a longtime leader and faithful member at First Light Church in Vandalia, where she formed many meaningful friendships and touched countless lives through her kindness, wisdom, and servant’s heart.

More than anything, Linda loved her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She found joy in gathering people together, caring for those she loved, and making others feel welcome and valued.

Linda also loved gardening and creating beautiful flower beds and landscapes around her home. She and her husband Andy shared a love of travel and adventure, visiting all 50 states and traveling to 22 countries together over the years, making treasured memories along the way.

She is survived by her loving husband, Andrew Wisecup; her children, Eric Schindler and his wife Sally of Portland, Oregon, and Nicholas Schindler and his wife Julie of Centerville, Ohio; her stepchildren, Megan Dickel and her husband Bob, Wendy Rynbrandt and her husband Jamie, and Alex Wisecup and his wife Jackie; her sister, Nancy Kierstead and her husband Michael of Miamisburg, Ohio; and twelve beloved grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Steven Schindler, and her parents, William and Erma Arwood.
