Linda Joyce (Cole) Bowser, age 80, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2025.  Linda was a long-time resident of Tipp City, Ohio and had recently moved to Story Point in Pickerington, Ohio.  She was born on June 3, 1944, in Sardis, Kentucky, to the late Andrew and Vernah (Donaldson) Cole. Linda was preceded in death by her lovingly committed husband of 43 years, David Bowser; two sisters, Stella Doyle and Geneva Dodge. Linda is survived by her adored sister, Bonnie Hamilton of Ewing, Kentucky; two sons, Sean T (Paige) McVity of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Lane A (Alicia) McVity of Carroll, Ohio; three stepsons, Colonel Darrin M (Kari) Bowser of Smithville, Tennessee, Brian Bowser of Huber Heights, Ohio and Marcus T Bowser of Vandalia, Ohio; ten grandchildren, Ali D Bowser, Aidan D McVity, Jenna R Bowser, Emma M Bowser, Zachary D Bowser, Brennan C McVity, Troy J McVity, Libby K McVity, Nolan C McVity and step granddaughter, Kaylan M Loyd; two step great grandchildren, Kamila Garcia and Klaire Loyd.  She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

Although Linda's physical presence may no longer grace our lives, her unending love, commitment to family and strength in Christ will continue to inspire and uplift us.  May her memory be a blessing as we carry forth her legacy of love and compassion in all that we do… your light will forever shine brightly in our hearts.‍

Graveside funeral service will be held 12:30 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2025, at Maple Hill Cemetery in Tipp City, Ohio, with Pastor Dan Glover officiating. Closed casket visitation is from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.  Friday, March 7, 2025, at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 West Main Street, Tipp City, Ohio 45371 There will be a small reception following the service, until 3 p.m. at Tipp City Global Methodist Church, 8 West Main Street, Tipp City, Ohio 45371.
