Griffin, Lela age 99 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away Friday, July 25, 2025 at Randall Residence, Tipp City. She was born January 3, 1926 in Lynn, Kentucky to Willis and Edna {Cox} Whisman. Lela is preceded in death by her parents; husband Harold James Griffin, son James Gregory "Greg" Griffin and siblings Lethie, Leo and Willis Jr. She is survived by son Jackie "Jack" (Ciria) Griffin of Tipp City, Ohio and niece Hester Wilson of Ironton, Ohio. Also surviving are grandchildren Alyssa Griffin, Curtis Griffin and Ginger Griffin all of Tipp City, Michael Griffin, Emily Lombardo and Thomas Griffin all of Troy, Ohio and great grandchildren Alexandra Griffin and Griffin Permenter.

Lela enjoyed her CB radio back in the day and used the handle "Tweety Bird". She enjoyed watching TV with 2 of her favorite shows being; Everybody Loves Raymond and Two and a Half Men. Lela loved to garden and her harvests filled many mason jars that she canned herself. She had many jobs over her 99 years including being an Avon Lady but her favorite job of all was being a mother.

A visitation will be held 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM, Friday August 1, 2025 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371. Pastor Will Brown officiating.
