Willoughby, Larry J. 70 of Tipp City, OH passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at SpringMeade Health Center, Tipp City. Born March 28, 1946 in Mt. Sterling, KY to the late James and Florine {Sharp} Willoughby. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by sister, Donna K. Hill. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Linda {Martin} Willoughby, daughter, Yvonne Rupert, Troy, OH, son, Matthew and his wife Tess Willoughby, Tipp City, OH, sister, Sue (Asa) Brewer, Kentucky, brothers, Bill (Carol) Willoughby, Troy, OH, Kenny (Lori) Willoughby, Tipp City, OH, Colonel Timothy (Jane) Willoughby, Tarpon Springs, FL and sister Joanna Williams, Colorado. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren; Kyle (Maria) Longstreath, Zachary and Taylor Rupert and Morgan and Allison Willoughby, great granddaughter, Aurora Rupert Workamp and another on the way, sisters in-law; Beverly (David) Stokes, Tennessee and Kimberly (Bill) Dilks, New Jersey and Rachel Martin, Tipp City, OH. Larry was a graduate of Anderson University, Anderson School of Theology and earned his Master's degree from the University of Dayton. He was a minister at the Church of God and was involved in Right Turn U.S., Foster Care program. Larry was an avid reader, a Cleveland Browns fan and enjoyed playing golf and above all else he loved and enjoyed spending time with his family especially the grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 19, 2016 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St. Tipp City, OH 45371; Army Chaplain, Colonel Timothy Willoughby officiating, burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
