Nichols, Larry Gordon age 86 of Tipp City was born January 28, 1938, in Otway, Ohio. His parents were Samuel Gordon and Charlotte Avis (Evans) Nichols. Larry is preceded in death by his two sons, Tony (Nancy) and Denis (Barbara), and by his two sisters, Pat Harris and Betty Brown. He leaves a loving wife of 45 years, Lilian Nichols, a daughter Carissa Nichols married to John Adams, two stepsons, David Brazie married to Shauna, and Andrew Brazie married to Savetka. Susan Sklenicka of Cleveland is his sister-in-law, and Dow Van Arnam of Florida and Bill Harris of Seaman, Ohio are his brothers-in-law. Larry also has 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Larry enjoyed reading Westerns and Sci-Fi books. One of his favorite pastimes was going to Jim's barber shop in downtown Tipp to discuss everything under the sun. He loved hunting and fishing with his son. Larry was a Mason member.

A visitation will be held Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Zion Lutheran Church, 14 W. Walnut St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371 and from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM Friday at the church. The family would like to invite everyone to a luncheon in the fellowship hall following the service. Burial to follow the luncheon at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City.
