Dunn, Larry V. age 74 of Troy, Ohio passed away Friday, December 6, 2024. He was born September 22, 1950 to Marshall Dunn and Ruby {Parrott} Hivner in LaFollette, Tennessee. Larry is preceded in death by his mother and brothers; Jimmy and Tim Dunn and Eddie Hivner. He is survived by his siblings; Gary Dunn of Georgia and Mary (Steve) Wilson of West Milton and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Larry was a 1970 graduate of Tippecanoe High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1970 until 1973, where he received the National Defense Service Medal and the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (Korea). Larry was stationed in Germany, Korea and completed his service at Fort Riley, Kansas. He was a member of Company B, Third Battalion and 32nd Infantry. Larry enjoyed gatherings with his family and friends, especially Thanksgiving. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A military graveside service will be held at a later date at Dayton National Cemetery. The family suggests that anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution in Larry's honor to please consider.
