Garland, Kay Imo {Clase} 78 of Tipp City passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness, Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Hospice of Dayton. Born September 27, 1934 in Van Wert, Ohio to Maurice F. "Bus" and Imogene {Layton} Clase Sr. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother; Maurice "Junior" Clase. She is survived by her husband; Charles V. Garland, sons; Charles M. and his wife Christine Garland, Huber Heights, OH, Timothy W. Garland, Tipp City and daughter; Marla G. and her husband Joel Robins, Macedonia, OH, along with brother; Dennis and his wife Janice Clase, Logan Co., OH, grandchildren; Michael (Christina) Garland and Melinda (Steve) Griffin and great grandchildren; Bryton M., Deacon S. and Destiny Garland. Kay had worked for Tuffy Brooks Sporting Goods as a manager in the lettering dept. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Tipp City, an Associate Member of the Korean War Veterans Association, Western Ohio Chapter, Piqua, OH and a "Kentucky Colonel". Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church, 445 W. Evanston Rd., Tipp City, OH with Pastor Dan Williams officiating. Burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation 5:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W.
