Burnside, June L. 87 of Tipp City passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at SpringMeade Health Center, Tipp City. Born June 12, 1927 in Lima, OH to Clarence and Frances {Blank} McClain. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Alfred Burnside in 2007, and sister, Mim Wauben. She is survived by her children; Doug Burnside, Tipp City, Denise (Mike) Marlow, Troy, Diana (Rich) Johnston, Tipp City and Lorie Hartley, Tipp City. Also surviving are brother, Phil (Jean) McClain, Lima, OH, sister, Charlene Felkey, Elkhart, IN, brother, Mick (Judy) McClain, Massillon, OH, grandchildren; Chad Johnston, Brandon Johnston, Daniel (Kathryn) Tolbert, April (Ryan) Barrows, Emily (Houston) Walker, Brian (Chelsea) Marlow and Mike "Heath" Hartley and great grandchildren, Alison & Merrick Johnston and Zachary Barrows. June was a graduate of Lima South High School and was a member of the First Baptist Church Tipp City. She enjoyed singing in the choir, attending church and most of all she loved her family. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371, Pastor Gary Boggs officiating; burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made in loving memory of June to Hospice of Miami County.
