Hudson, Joyce E. "Joy", 68 of Bethel Township, Tipp City passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. Born September 8, 1944 in Dayton, OH to James and Mildred E. {Wells} Boldman, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, John Hudson Jr., Tipp City, sons; James P. and his wife Kimberly Hudson, Hilliard, OH, and Jeff B. and his wife Lesa Hudson, Tipp City along with grandson, Nicklaus C. Hudson and granddaughter, Taylor E. Hudson. Also surviving are a sister; Judy R. Bates, Cincinnati, OH, aunt; Jeanne Carmean, Dayton, OH, brothers and sisters in-law; Norine and Steve Baker, Enon, OH, Pat and Chuck Christman, Trotwood, OH, Murle Hudson, St. Marys, OH, Cally and Albert VanPelt, Florida, Phillip and Rhonda Hudson, Miamisburg, OH, Norma and Marshall Sanford, Florida, French and Linda Hudson, Tipp City, OH, Ola Hudson, Lima, OH, as well as many nieces and nephews. Joy was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed sewing, cooking and visiting the Tipp City parks. Funeral services will be held at Noon on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371, Pastor Bonita Wood officiating, burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. Visitation 10:00 AM to Noon prior to the service at the funeral home.
