Peters, John Owen 68 of Tipp City passed away Sunday, January 31, 2016 in Dayton, OH. Born December 5, 1947 in Dayton, OH to the late Clark Owen and Opal Mae {Shank} Peters. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by brothers, Richard and James Peters and sister, Marilyn Peters and his special furry friend, Sidney Bear. He is survived by his son Jason (Katina) Peters, daughter, Jonikka Peters, all of Cincinnati, OH and son Brandon Peters, Tipp City, OH. Also surviving are his best friend for 50 years and his spouse for 30 years, Victoria Peters, mother in-law, Norma Mitchell, Tipp City, OH, brother in-law, Reb {Lisa} Bilinski, Kettering, OH, sister in-law, Gloria Moorman, Dayton, OH, 3 grandchildren, Grace, Owen and Luke Peters, and several nieces and nephews. John was a member of the Brandt Lutheran Church, a Renaissance brother, Sigma Phi Epsilon Ohio Kappa. He was a true family man, a gentle soul and an animal lover who was kind to all God's creatures. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at the Brandt Lutheran Church, 6870 US Route 40, Tipp City, OH; Pastor David Jarvis-Schroeder officiating, burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371 and one hour prior to the funeral on Thursday at the church.
